eXo Portlet Container

The eXo Portlet Container product contains two main implementations:

• The Portlet API one (currently JSR 168/286)
• The WSRP layer one (two plugins WSRP1 and WSRP2, with buit-in Producer/Consumer )

We provide a standalone edition that is not bundled with the eXo Portal product. It is intended to use either for portlet developments or as the first step to bundle eXo Portlet Container with your own Portal implementation to reach compliance with JSR 168 and the JSR 286.

It also comes with:

• a simple portal WAR file (one filter (PortletFilter) and one servlet (PortalServlet) to show the deployed portlets)
• a demo application WAR file which includes a few portlet samples to show portlet container functionality.
