Manage Script Test Cases
Required Test Cases (in order)
Main steps
- Go to Content Administration -> ECM Administration-> Advanced Configuration-> Manage Script
Create new script
- Click on Add button -> Add/Edit script pop-up appears
- Put value for 'Content ' field
- Put script's name
- Click Save button
- New script is added.
Edit
- Select a script from list to edit
- Click on Edit icon-> Add/Edit script pop-up appears.
- Make changes for 'Script Contents'
- Check/Uncheck 'Is enable version' if you want to enable version for this script or not.
- Click on Save button
Delete
- Select a script to delete
- Click on Delete icon
- Click OK to confirm
- Selected script is deleted
Other checks
- Case 1:
o Input: Do not input data in 'Name' field when create a new script
o Output: Show message: " The field "scriptName" is required"
- Case 2:
o Input: Do not input data in 'Content' field when create a new script o Output: Show message: " The field " The field "scriptContent" is required "
- Case 3:
o Input: Add a new script when name is existing o Output: Show message: " The script name ' … ' is existing "
- Case 4:
o Input: input special characters such as : @,$,%,&,#… in 'Name' field o Output: Show message: " Script name have some invalid characters. "
- Case 5:
o Input:o Output: Content Browser is configured with selected script
- Add new BC script named Test with Content value likes: Test
- Go to Content Browser
- Select Edit in portlet mode
- Click button New config
- Select Using a JCR script -> Next -> Script name: Test
- Click button Save
