Create an Action Type Test Case

Required Test Cases (in order)

• Sign In

Main steps

• Go to Content Administration -> ECM Administration->Advanced Configuration
• Click Add button to create an action type -> Action Type form appears.
  • 'Extends Action Type': select from list
  • 'Name': input name with prefix 'exo:'
  • 'Is Action Move': the new action has property whether ?exo:move? or not.
  • 'Business process': select from list
  • 'Variables': allows to create multi-values for action. Click on the Add Item icon to add more value
• Click Save button

Other checks

• Case 1:

o Input: Do not input data in 'name' field

o Output: Show message: "The field "name" is required"

• Case 2:

o Input: Fill in 'Name' field without prefix 'exo:'

o Output: A message appears to require that you must enter the name begin with 'exo:'

• Case 3:

o Input: Add new action has the same name with existing action

o Output: Show message: " This action existed in the ECM system"

•  Case 4:
  • Input: Put some special characters in 'name' field like: @,#,$,%...
  • Output: Show message:"Have some invalid characters in action name"
