Watching Document Test Case

Steps to watching document

Required Test Cases (in order)

• Login

Main steps

Go to Content Management -> File Explorer

• Select 1 drive that allows to do Watching Document function (in this case I use drive 'Collaboration Center')
• Select tab 'Collaboration'
• Select a document that you want to watch
• Click the 'Watch/Unwatch this document' icon-> 'Watching Document' pop-up appears
• Click on Watch button to finish or click on Cancel button to disscard this action

• Open watched file
• Open Watching Document pop-up
• Click on Unwatch button

Other checks

• Case 1: Test Watching with a node type (nt:unstructred and nt:folder)
  • In put: Select a node type nt:unstructured or nt:folder and click Watching icon
  • Out put:A message shows that: 'Only document node can be watched'
• Case 2: Test Watching with a document
  • Input: Select a document which available in tree and perform Watching this document
  • Output: A message shows that: 'You are watching this document'
• Case 3: Test Watching with a node which uploaded
  • Input: Select a node which uploaded and perform Watching this document
  • Output: A message shows that: 'You are watching this document'
• Case 4: Test Watching with node which imported
  • Input: Select a node which imported and perform watching this document
  • Output: A message shows that: 'You are watching this document'
• Case 5: Test Watching with a document which created by Fast content
  • Input: Select a document which created by Fast content and perform watching this document
  • Output: A message shows that: 'You are watching this document'
• Case 6: Test Unwatch a document
  • Input:
    • Select a document which watching
    • Click Watch icon and then, click Unwatch button
  • Output: You have left the watcher list successfully.
• Case 7:Watching document when user hasn't got set property permission
  • Input
    • Select document that user hasn't got set property permission
    • Click icon to watch
  • Output: Show message "Access denied. You haven't got permission to edit in this node"
• Case 8: Watching document is in 'Check in' status
  • Input
    • Select document is in 'Check in' status
    • Select document to watch
  • Output: Show message "You must check out first"
